Stellar Medallion Tree Skirt

The Stellar Medallion shows off long sharp points. Does it look difficult? It's not! Nor is it paper pieced! The secret? It's strip pieced, then cut at a sharp angle using a Ten Degree Wedge. The seam goes down the center of the point!

English Paper Piecing uses paper templates and fabric to create perfect shapes that can be put together in a variety of ways for unique and beautiful quilt blocks.  English Paper Piecing can be used for a wide variety of blocks.   For this class, we will be focusing on hexagons to make Grandmother's Flower Garden Blocks.
