It is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of NEW, HOMEMADE, WASHABLE blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers.
Come to Patches Quilting every Tuesday to participate! There is always a small group of sewers every Tuesday to aid in support and guidance in creating a quilt of love. We have an abundance of fabric to make a quilt , all we need is you!

One Million Pillowcase Challenge
Turn your love of quilting and sewing into messages of comfort, hope and love – for a foster child, a cancer patient, victims of domestic violence, and others. The idea is simple – make and donate pillowcases to local charities in your community. You can turn your pillowcases in at Patches. We will be glad to make sure they get credited.

We offer 2 kinds of BOMs:
Tradtional BOM Program: With our Traditional BOMs, you purchase the fabric and pattern at Patches and participate in a monthly feedback meeting with other students. Your have total control of your pace and selection of fabric.
Fabric/Pattern Kit BOM Program:
This program comes with monthly fabric and pattern kit and is ready for pick-up by the 2nd Saturday of the month. When you register for this kind of program, it is understood you are registering for the entire program. We will abide by this policy and prepare a kit for your each month with the understanding that you will remain in the program for the duration. We will require a credit card number on file and will charge your card each month for the cost of your selected programs, plus shipping and handling, if required. Programs vary, so please read each BOM series for length of program and associated costs. Local customers may pick up their BOM each month in order to save on shipping & handling. Please let us know your preference at sign-up time. We also offer the same monthly meetings for the fabric kits if you choose to participate, but it's not required to pick up your fabric kits.
